My favorite character has to be the Archer. Load that bitch up with the buffs, she can pretty much dominate the battle field. 2nd choice is the Wizard. That chain lightning is devastating against bunched up players.

The Knight is probably my favorite. Especially when facing the Dark Elves, if he has the Helmet & Shield upgrade he can stay on the Assault Boost for many consecutive turns -practically unlimited with a Cleric nearby- without being able to get knocked off.

The archer for sure. Giving it the weapon upgrade makes it incredibly powerful, and being able to attack from 3 squares away and then retreat behind a defensive unit makes it very useful.

The awesomest unit by far is the wraith. A fully loaded fed wraith is tough to kill. The most tactical useful is the necromancer. You can pick off the enemy from 3 squares away and turn them into phantoms.

I’m glad The Old Republic made the list. It’s too bad it came out with only 11 days left in the year, it missed out on a bunch of GOTY nods, which it really deserves. It’s a great game in my experience, and I’ve easily put over 200 hours in it already, AND AM STILL IN CHAPTER 1!

Skyrim is boring as fuck
I played over 200 hours of it(thanks to PC mods otherwise i would have quit after 10)

I mean – In the beginning you fight against some Vrykuls…Oh and 100 hours later in some Random Dungeon you still fight against the SAME Vrykuls.There were like 4-5 different enemies in the whole game..Vrykuls,Spiders,those nasty Alien things,Humans and Daedras.I dont count the dragons cause they’re to rare
The Dragons?Couldn’t even touch me – Weren’t impressive at all.

I played the whole game on Master Difficulty and didn’t even die once.Thanks to so MANY damn bugs and glitches i got the best equipment so soon in the game that nothing could even touch me.

Long Playtime doesn’t mean anything if you play for over 200 hours a bugged and glitched game.

LA Noire= boring
uncharted 3= boring
portal 2 = too short to be on any GOTY list

portal 2 is completely over in like 30 hours.

LA Noire is fun for the first disk, if that afterwards its a chore.

uncharted is one of the worst series to come to games and people still fall in love with it.
its not good gameplay at all. climbing a building for 20 minutes and then shooting 3 people isn’t fun after the 4th level of the same crap.
yes it has great graphics, and the story and voice acting is pretty good, but it has 0 fun gameplaywise which is what matters the most

GJ bethesda for getting another GOTY award skyrim is the best game to come out this year by far, over 130 hours of fun gameplay make it a good value.
